These Terms govern your use of nationaltradesinstitute.com and the National Trades Institute student portal (the "Service"). National Trades Institute ("NTI," "we") is a trade name of Ian Cushing. By creating an account or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms.
NTI provides independent test-preparation materials for contractor license examinations, including practice questions, timed practice exams, answer explanations and study plans. NTI is not a school, does not issue licenses or credentials, and is not affiliated with, approved by, or endorsed by any state licensing board, the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Professional Testing, Inc., NASCLA, or Pearson VUE. All practice questions are original and are not actual examination questions.
We cannot guarantee that you will pass any examination or obtain a license. Licensing requirements, examination content and reference editions are set by each state and may change. You are responsible for confirming current requirements with your state licensing authority.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Lemon Squeezy (Lemon Squeezy, LLC), which is the Merchant of Record for all orders. Lemon Squeezy handles payment, applicable sales tax, and billing inquiries. Prices are shown at checkout. Course purchases are one-time payments for the access period stated on the product page. Optional monthly extensions renew each month until cancelled and can be cancelled at any time from your account or the link in your receipt.
If you do not pass the examination covered by your course during your access period, we will extend your access at no charge, subject to these conditions:
Each approved extension adds 90 days of access. Free extensions are available for up to 12 months from your original purchase date. This policy is a free access extension, not a refund.
Accounts are for one individual. You may not share your login, resell access, or copy, scrape, record or redistribute any course content. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms without refund.
All course content is owned by NTI and licensed to you for personal, non-commercial study during your access period. Product and organization names are used only to identify the examinations our materials help you prepare for.
Some pages and emails include links to third-party products, such as insurance or business-formation services. We may earn a commission if you purchase through these links, at no extra cost to you. Third-party products are governed by their own terms.
The Service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, NTI's total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the course in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost income or examination fees.
We may update these Terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee.
